The plant’s synonyms include Erythrina indica, Erythrina variegata. It is a popular ornamental tree owing to its decorative effects to areas in need of beautification. USES it is used for green fodder, medicinal, green manure, ornamental, food & shade purpose. GREEN FODDER: Having high protein and fibre content that makes it an excellent feed to cattles. MEDICINAL : Bark and leaf powder is used to aid digestion, rid of intestinal worms, blood purification, to regulate menstruation (periods), cholesterol imbalance, fever, antiseptic, skin problems,etc., GREEN MANURE: Leaves Nitrogen fixing particularly useful for soil enrichment, helps poor soil increase the fertility, good source of organic matter, quickly decomposes & provide nutrients to plants.
